Choosing Clarity in Law

Experienced Solicitor at Your Service

Specialists in employment and discrimination law litigation in the Employment Tribunal

Loureen Palmer

I am Loureen Palmer, a dedicated freelance solicitor with over 15 years of experience in the legal profession. Since qualifying in 2010, I have specialized exclusively in employment and discrimination law, helping both individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of the modern workplace.

My practice is built on a core belief that affordable access to justice should be a right, not a privilege. By working as a freelance practitioner, I am able to provide the high-caliber, specialized legal expertise you would expect from a traditional firm, but with the flexibility and cost-effective approach that today’s clients deserve.

Two distinct ways to work together:

I provide two distinct ways to work together:

  • The 'Unbundled' Fixed-Fee Model: For those who want to manage their own case but need professional help with the heavy lifting. I offer fixed-fee pricing for specific 'pieces' of work—such as drafting a claim, witness statements, or preparing a tribunal bundle. You pay a set price for that task, regardless of how long it takes, allowing for a 'no-frills,' cost-effective route to a presentable and professional case.

  • The Traditional Full-Service Model: If you require in-depth legal advice and end-to-end representation, I offer a comprehensive service similar to a traditional law firm, charged at a transparent hourly rate.

Whether you need a single document reviewed or a dedicated solicitor to handle your entire matter, my goal is to provide high-caliber legal expertise that is both flexible and accessible. By stripping away the overheads of a traditional firm, I ensure you get the expert support you need, exactly how you need it.

Fees:

£120 (including VAT) per hour for merits advice and full service work

£600 (including VAT) for piece work (e.g. for disclosure or witness statements)

£600 (including VAT) to advise on a Settlement Agreement (including any revisions you seek)
